Cookie Policy
Last updated 11 July 2026
This policy explains how Measurementplan AB uses cookies on measurementplan.com.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They can be strictly necessary (needed for the site to work) or optional (for example analytics or advertising).
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session (authentication) | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Ends when your session ends. |
| Checkout (Polar) | Set only during payment, by our payment provider, to complete your purchase. | Short-lived, during checkout. |
| Analytics (PostHog) | Measures how the product is used and powers session recording, using an identifier kept across visits. | Up to 12 months. |
Analytics and session recording
To understand how the product is used and to improve it, we use PostHog, a product-analytics tool hosted in the EU. It sets an analytics cookie so we can recognise a browser across visits, captures which pages and features are used, and records product sessions to help us find and fix usability problems. Session recordings mask all form inputs, so text you type (such as passwords, email addresses, and scanned URLs) is not captured. We enable PostHog's IP-discard setting so your IP address is not stored.
What we do not use
We use no advertising cookies. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.
Managing cookies
We do not currently show a cookie consent banner. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or use its "do not track" / tracking-protection features, to opt out of the analytics cookie; blocking it stops PostHog analytics and session recording. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.
